Instructor: Carolynn Dallaire

Class description: This colourful 64 page journal, with some altered pages, is a fun, straight-forward project to make. The covers are a heavy, but foldable, paper. The inside pages are made from a large piece of light water colour paper, Arches text wove, that will be already decorated with a colourful watercolour wash. We will ‘tear’ down the large paper into a usable page size..... then sew the cover and pages together using a french lace sewing style. The book, measuring 5’ wide by 6 1/2” tall, is sturdy yet flexible, colourful and most enjoyable to fill. A decorative button is often sewn on the front cover for decoration.
