Online Artist Communities - Share and sell your art online
How many of you have thought, "I need a website." From my experience, it almost isn't worth the trouble and extra expense, especially if you don't have the know how, money or time to dedicate yourself to designing, and maybe learning the code to do a website. Even when you get a website up you have to do a lot of work after like suggesting the website to the many search engines like google.com, yahoo.com or msn.com so your website will surface closer to the front pages in the web search results. You still have to do work marketing your site. These free art sites do all this for you. Some do take a commission when something sells but there is one that doesn't.
On most of these sites you can setup an account for yourself, for free. These sites require you to register information about yourself bio, etc and you have to upload your pictures yourself. Read their instructions and most are very easy to follow. I will elaborate on each of these sites later, but have a look around and see how they work. Most of these site do 2D and 3D art as well as photography.
