With a couple years of planning and lobbing by the Arts Council of Ladysmith & district, we finally have affordable studio place for artists. I've decided to share our excitement in the developing use of the Expo Legacy building unfolds. The building is getting to be known as the local arts centre in Ladysmith. The building is filling up with artist studios on the ground level and now the upstairs space (across the hall from gallery) as well.

Opening at Dennis Brown's studio is creating excitement and other openings the same day. Sunday September 20th/09 2:pm to 4:pm. Other studio's may remain open later. Come by and check it out. It's something different to do in Ladysmith and don't be shy artists love to talk to people!
