Home School Kids
This class is designed for those children who are being home schooled. The class is open for children 6-10 years old. Children will explore different mediums and techniques and a playful and fun way, using, paint, paper, pencil and more.

Imagination Station
A fun and interactive Saturday morning at in the Art Room, Your child will discover their inner creative self with paint, paper, glue, recycled materials and more.

Parents and their tops learn to explore their surroundings in a creative way. Parents are engaged with their child enjoying being creative and learning interesting ways to play.

The Wonderful World of Willow Chair
Create your own willow furniture, strong, rustic and beautiful. Andrew Kent will take you through the process and at the end of the course you will take home a beautiful willow chair.

Acrylic Explorations

Introduction to Oil Painting
One day workshop
Learn the sublime qualities of oil paints. You will learn the basics of oil paint mediums, brush techniques and colour theory. We will start the day with playful experimentation to get to know the medium. Then paint a simple a still life or work on a piece of your own choice. No experience necessary.

Multi Media Drawing
A one day workshop 1 – 5pm
We will be using Chinese ink as the basis of this work-shop. Ink is an extremely versatile and exciting medium that can be used both for detailed representational drawing as well as experimental processes. We will then add other drawing materials to our ink drawing to create complex works of art. The focus of this workshop is on experimentation. No experience necessary.

Zines & Graphic Novels for Teens
One day work shop, 1pm - 5pm
This coarse is designed for those who would like to know more about hand-made zines & graphic novels. We will discuss the history of the graphic novel and look at both handmade zines and published graphic novels. All you need to bring is your imagination and your favourite drawing tools. We will complete one zine and get a good start on your graphic novel.
This class is for hand-made not computer generated animation.
Supply list:
Bring whatever you like to draw with. Pens, pencils, felts, etc.
Paper and other drawing mediums supplied.

Life Drawing
Life-drawing with a model in the studio twice a month. These sessions are self-directed and not critiqued. This is a time for you and your materials......a time to practice and a time to try out new things without worrying about results or about what others think of your work. Take this opportunity to play with different materials, stretch yourself and take risks. Bring whichever materials you feel like working with, and bring cookies to share at break time.
